Protest of Florida Holocaust Museum
St. Petersburg, Florida
April 3, 2004

.

At 1145 on Saturday morning April 3, 2004 a group of seven individuals conducted a protest at the Florida Holocaust Museum in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The protesters say they agree with the spirit of commemorating the remembrance of the Nazi Holocaust; so why were they protesting the museum? Well, they say they are protesting the hyprocrisy of the founding of the museum by Walter Loebenberg who is the former president of Straight Foundation. Further, they say, the museum has strong ties to others associated with Straight. Former Straight board member Dr. Bruce Epstein and his wife Amy are former directors of the museum. Melvin and Betty Sembler have been long time board members of the Florida Holocaust Museum. The full story of why these people are protesting the museum is here.
